TMA Model Files revision 109 released

There is an updated version available for the TMA Model Files database.
The newest version is revision 109 and your free copy is available here.

What is new inside this version:
- Private MIB files for all EAD/TDM devices (compliant to TDRE 12.4 Core engine)
- SubSystem Picture files for new EAD devices 1222 (ADSL) / 1424X (SHDSL.Bis) / 1622 (FO)

What is TMA SSP and what can I do with it:
TMA SSP stands for Sub System Picture
--> it allows to visualize remotely the front & back panel of your installed devices (including LED states)
--> direct overview of Alarm states of your interfaces
--> Interactive buttons to retrieve info from device
--> More buttons can be added to customise it to your needs including actions (e.g. cold boot, retrain line, ...)

How can TMA SSP help me:
--> NOC people can call this application with the press of a button and visualize the device in seconds showing alarm states
--> Action buttons (left side) can be added to create customized actions to help first line troubleshooting without the need to know the device
--> Installation teams can start customized scripts on the devices by the press of a button to test&validate the installation

Below is an example view of a 1622 device displayed by TMA SSP. At a glance we can see the alarm states of the interfaces (green/red) and the front-panel LEDs.

How to connect with TMA SSP

  • How To connect with TMA SSP to a device from TMA:
    When connected to a device, you can instantly call the TMA SSP application by pressing the ssp_button_tma button.
    If you need to provide a password to log in the device then TMA will automatically re-use your current login credentials
  • How To connect with TMA SSP to a device without TMA:
    TMA SSP is installed automatically when you have installed the TMA Engine. In the installation directory of TMA you will find a TMASSP.exe file to start the stand-alone application.
